Our Practice Areas

Civil Litigation Disputes

I represent individuals and businesses in a wide range of civil disputes that require formal legal action in court. Civil litigation involves resolving conflicts between parties through the legal system when negotiations or informal resolution are not sufficient.

My practice covers disputes involving breach of contract, business and commercial disagreements, property-related conflicts, consumer-related disputes, and other matters where one party has suffered financial or legal harm due to another party’s conduct or failure to comply with legal obligations.

These cases involve all stages of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, court hearings, and trial when necessary. The focus is on building strong legal claims or defenses, presenting evidence effectively, and achieving favorable outcomes through settlement or court judgment.

The goal of civil litigation is to resolve disputes efficiently and strategically while protecting clients’ rights, enforcing legal obligations, and obtaining appropriate financial or equitable remedies under California law.

Personal Injury

We represent individuals who have suffered serious physical, emotional, and financial harm due to the negligence or wrongful conduct of others. Personal injury law applies when someone fails to exercise reasonable care and that failure results in preventable injury to another person.

These cases arise in many everyday situations where safety standards are not followed, such as motor vehicle collisions involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, or pedestrians; unsafe property conditions that lead to slip and fall or premises-related injuries; dangerous or unrestrained animals causing dog bite injuries; hazardous construction environments; and situations involving medical negligence or wrongful death.

Each case is focused on proving that a duty of care existed, that it was breached, and that the breach directly caused measurable harm. The injuries involved often require emergency treatment, ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and can lead to long-term disability, lost earning capacity, and significant emotional distress.

Our practice is dedicated to pursuing full compensation for injured individuals, including medical expenses, future treatment needs, lost wages, diminished earning capacity, and pain and suffering. The goal is to ensure accountability for negligent conduct while helping clients rebuild their lives after serious injury.

Consumer Rights & Proposition 65 Enforcement

We represent consumers and pursue enforcement actions involving unsafe or non-compliant products under California’s consumer protection laws, including California Proposition 65.

Proposition 65 (formally the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) requires businesses to provide clear and reasonable warnings before exposing individuals to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The law is administered and regulated by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA): .

Our practice focuses on identifying violations and holding companies accountable where consumers are exposed to hazardous chemicals without proper warnings. This includes cases involving unsafe or mislabeled consumer goods, contaminated products, and failure-to-warn violations across a wide range of industries.

We handle matters involving:

  • Toxic chemical exposure in consumer products
  • Failure to provide legally required Proposition 65 warnings
  • Unsafe or non-compliant household goods and products
  • Contaminated food, supplements, and beverages
  • Chemical exposure risks in cosmetics and personal care products
  • Children’s products and heightened safety standard violations
  • Misleading labeling and consumer safety disclosures

The goal is to promote transparency, enforce compliance, and reduce public exposure to harmful substances in everyday consumer products.

Labor & Employment

We represent employees in workplace disputes involving violations of California and federal employment laws. These cases arise when employers engage in unlawful practices that harm workers financially, professionally, or personally, including termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage violations.

Our practice includes wrongful termination, where an employee is unlawfully fired in violation of public policy, employment agreements, or protected legal rights. We also handle workplace discrimination cases involving adverse employment actions based on protected characteristics such as age, race, gender, disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, religious belief, national origin, and pregnancy.

In addition, I represent employees in sexual harassment cases, including hostile work environment claims and quid pro quo harassment, as well as retaliation claims where workers are punished for reporting unlawful conduct, asserting workplace rights, or participating in investigations.

A major part of my practice also involves wage and hour violations, including unpaid wages, unpaid overtime, missed meal and rest breaks, and other failures to properly compensate employees under California labor law. This includes misclassification cases, where employees are incorrectly classified as independent contractors or exempt employees in order to avoid providing lawful wages and benefits.

Our work also includes representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), which allows employees to pursue claims on behalf of themselves and other aggrieved workers to address systemic violations of the Labor Code.

The goal of our practice is to enforce workplace protections, recover unpaid compensation and damages, and hold employers accountable for unlawful employment practices while promoting compliance with California labor standards.
